PRESTIGE H2O / WATER, UNDERSTOOD
Consider the whole installation.
A useful installation plan identifies the selected equipment, incoming water connection, bypass and service access, power and drain needs where applicable, and any plumbing changes. It should distinguish included work from exclusions and assign commissioning and handover responsibilities. Prestige sets out the installed scope for your home in its written proposal; confirm any local requirements before work begins.
Before the proposal
Record the water source and test results. Identify the main supply, available space, household demand and access to the proposed location.
Before work begins
Ask the installer to confirm model-specific requirements and any locally required permits.
- Operating environment and service clearances
- Bypass, isolation and pipe connections
- Power, drain and air gap where required
- Included work, exclusions and restoration
At handover
Request the manuals, settings, maintenance schedule and a demonstration of the bypass. Agree on how any follow-up concern should be reported.
Questions and answers
What site information should I gather before a consultation?
Record the water source, available space, approximate pipe location and any known drain or electrical constraints. Photos may help a later qualified site assessment but do not replace it.
Can any system be installed outdoors?
Do not assume that. Check the selected manufacturer's environmental limits, freeze and sun protection requirements, access and applicable local installation rules.
What should happen during handover?
Ask for operating instructions, bypass guidance, maintenance responsibilities, settings documentation and the applicable equipment paperwork. Confirm who handles follow-up questions before accepting a proposal.
